Pokémon GO Round Up 5
So I decided to give this Pokémon GO thing a try last week. I loaded it up on my iPhone and started walking around where I live, like so many others. My friend that the mob had consumed me. Haha. Maus told me of a video he saw of a park in New York where there was just a mob of people. You’ll know I live in a very populated area, so I run into all sorts of things. My apartment is almost on top of a gym, which is nice. The best thing yesterday was discovering that my gym was being dominated by a trainer known as MrPoopyBum with a 2000+ CP Snorlax.

Today I had a health insurance appointment early in the morning, and I had to get my medication early because it’s Tuesday, and I had to go to the DMV only to find I had to go to the Clerk and Recorder’s Office because somebody stole my freakin’ registration tag off my car. I found out because I noticed an envelope on my windshield this morning with a $35 ticket for expired plates from when I parked to go to Ramen Master yesterday. This is bullshit! But… I did hunt for Pokémon on the way to the courthouse (no way I was parking my car again and risking another ticket). In the end, I was able to get a replacement tag, but what the hell.
I ALMOST got a Golbat, but it escaped and then ran away… and I almost got a Growlithe (which would’ve been hella sweet) but it escaped and ran away. So much bullshit, but that’s how it goes.
I, however, did catch this little dude:
That was pretty nice. And I tried my hand at powering up my Raticate, but it seems a little feeble:
Here’re the usual highlights of my recent catches:
I’m hoping to catch a little more variety, but these are the things that seem to be hanging around when I go hunting. I’ll see if I can have Maus drive me around a bit again, which I know defeats the purpose a little bit… but I think maybe we’ll go poké-hunting at City Park sometime.
Gotta catch ’em all! I choose you Pikachu!
