Maus and I went to Barnes and Noble for a sale, and I got a new keychain. However, My Neighbor Totoro trinkets were calling to me, but alas I did not buy any. I did however buy a present for Captain which was neat. Why is there yoga in old town, why am I at Starbucks, and what do these antennae do on this Caterpillar Roll?
Maus made a post once on Facebook, at least I believe it was him, which he claimed captured me perfectly. He was right, it was the image of a coffee and on it the words appeared, paraphrased, “I don’t really have a plan every day, just coffee and strangeness my friend, coffee and strangeness.”
I’ve decided that one thing I can work on is this blog. Here’s the deal, I have to keep myself busy. I’m not allowed to “not do anything” anymore, so, I’m going to need some projects or activities to keep me busy. There have been times in the past when I’ve kept up this blog to a pretty good degree, and it was kind of fun.
Here’s some pics from my outing last week. I believe in this outing I had three people with me: Maus, Captain, and Captain’s brother. We only got pics of me really, but that’s kind of the point. So, I went around Old Town, my usual haunt, and took pictures with people.
So, I get so excited about my website ideas that, like many of my other ideas, I forget to actually commit to one and grow it. But, no more! I do the same thing with story, game, art, etc. ideas. I get so excited about the next new idea or inspiration I’ve come up with that I just kind of leave whatever I was doing and I never accomplish anything, dammit!
So problem with the suit: Moisture collects on the glasses, fogging them up and making them extremely refractive. By the end of my tour of Zombie Crawl I could hardly see anything at all. I had a really hard time even seeing kids taking and wanting to take a picture. I couldn’t move because I was afraid I’d trample over somebody. Night time is pretty hard to see through those glasses, but add fog and moisture on top of that… impossible.
Maus actually drew a couple views of Isaac before I started constructing him. I didn’t quite get them up though because they were drawn on traditional media and not imported into the computer. However, I managed to take some photos of them (as opposed to scanning them in) so I thought I’d post them here.
I’ve been wanting a new tail to wear around for a while. When the bull was slaughtered at home I took a picture of the tail. Here’s my eventual tail that was made from the hide. It’s kind of folded over with the hopes that it’ll curl a little during wear and some conditioning. I had to use superglue for a couple parts ’cause they wanted to come apart.
